Littelfuse launches industry's first series of ultra-high current SMD fuses

This innovative series is a supplement to the 881 series, providing 150A and 200A fuse rated currents, which is a major upgrade to the 881 series' 125A maximum rated current. The 871 Fuse Series provides electronic designers with a single-fuse, surface-mount solution that eliminates the need for parallel fuse configurations.

The 871 Series High Current SMD Fuses are the first and only small size SMD fuses to feature extra-large current ratings of 150A and 200A. Previously, only much larger through-hole fuses could offer this rating. This advancement addresses the challenges of higher power requirements and limited fuse current ratings, providing a streamlined solution for modern electronic designs.
